THE SUMMER MAILING WAS MAILED TO THE FAMILIES OF ALL REGISTERED CHILDREN ON JULY 31.   If you haven't received your package by August 22 and  you are not away, please call or email Laura.

ATTENTION PREK PARENTS:  Join us for a PreK orientation with your child(ren)'s teachers on Thursday, August 28 at 9:00 am.  This is an adults only meeting, so please arrange for alternate child care for your children. 

ATTENTION PREK AND KINDERGARTEN PARENTS:  Our annual PreK-K welcome (back) brunch is Saturday, September 6 at 10:30 am on the plaza in front of our school.  Bring your own picnic plus any dish you wish to share with others.  Rain location:  the lobby of our building.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OUR FIRST PTA MEETING OF THE YEAR - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 AT 6 PM.   This will be a pot luck dinner and meeting for adults only.  Meet your PTA officers - committee heads and school staff will discuss the upcoming school year.  Childcare will be available for all school age children (4 years old and older).   Sign-up sheets will be posted on the PTA board in the lobby in early September.

IT ISN'T EASY BEING GREEN

Please help us by discarding all trash in the appropriate receptacles.  We have blue bins for metal, glass and plastic, grey bins for paper and regular cans for all non recyclable garbage.  Thank you.

HAVE YOU MOVED ?  Submitting your new address on the "blue" card is not enough.  Stop by and see Christine with documentation verifying your new address.  Acceptable documentation includes a utility bill (electricity, water, gas), deed to a house, document from the City Housing Authority or the Human Resources Administration,or a medical or insurance card with your home address.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR KINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE:

WE HAVE COMPLETED REGISTRATION FOR THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR.  You can check back with us in September to see if we have any openings.

2009-2010 ADMISSIONS INFORMATION:

CALL US AFTER OCTOBER 15, 2008 TO SCHEDULE A TOUR.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR NONDISTRICT 2 RESIDENTS:

FAMILIES OUTSIDE DISTRICT TWO MUST OBTAIN A PLACEMENT EXCEPTION REQUEST APPLICATION.  Applications are available from Enrollment Services at 333 Seventh Avenue or call 212 356-7500.

 

A REMINDER:  It is a Department of Education school safety regulation that all visitors (includes parents and guardians) stop at the front desk.  Please have your identification ready for our school safety officer, Douglas Parks, when you sign-in at his desk.
