Please
read before you sign up for clubs.
Spring Semester begins Monday, February 6.
Clubs end on Friday, June 9.
General care After-School continues until June 27.
There will be no After-School Program on June 28.
Beginning, February 6, the after-school day is divided into 5 sections:
Dismissal and Early Activities
2:50 to 3:30 PM Children are dismissed to the Music Room where attendance is taken followed by a structured activity for K through 2 or homework help (reading) for 2 through 5. Extended day students join up with the children dismissed earlier at 3:30 in the music room.
Snack and Attendance
3:30 to 3:45 PM
Attendance is taken again and children are given a nutritious snack.
Club Activities
3:45 to 5:00 PM
These are the clubs that your child are signed up for.
Structured Open Play and Homework Help
5:00 to 5:45 PM
We encourage pick-up of younger children at 5:00 PM (because of the long day).
Clean Up & Dismissal
5:45 to 5:50 PM
Children help with clean up, and wait to be dismissed.

If we do not receive enough interest in a particular club, we apologize, however it will not be taking place. You would then be placed in a club based on your other choices.
Cancelled Club Policy: On occasion a club will be cancelled for the day due to teacher illness or other circumstance. When this happens, the children may attend a different club that day. We cannot guarantee every club or give refunds for cancellations.
Please remember children must be picked up by 5:50PM. This allows us to secure the building properly by 6:00PM. Remember, you are welcome to pick up your children any time between 5:30PM & 5:50PM. Please try to avoid coming between 3:15-5:30PM, children are in different clubs throughout the building and are not as easily accessible.
If your child will be participating in a athletic activity, please make sure that they are wearing the proper footwear and dressed appropriately.
You may withdraw from the after-school program at any time. You must withdraw before the 1st of the month you wish to stop coming. We do not prorate partial months. Return your invoice with the words "Please Withdraw" written on it when you receive your bill for the coming month. You may also email mona@manhattanyouth.org
For clubs with an "Extra Fee," the fee must be paid when registering. We do not give refunds for these activities.
