Parent involvement is not only absolutely necessary for making our little school as great as it is, but is social and fun, and teaches our kids that we think school is important. We welcome all parents to feel free to click on an event's contact person's name and send them an email.
FUNDRAISERS:
INNISBROOK GIFT WRAPPING
Get wrapping paper, beautiful gifts, gourmet chocolates, plus so much more… and the school gets 50% of the sale price! Make sure to get your friends, co-workers and relatives to buy too. Tim Lynch, a 1st and kindergarten grade parent is our contact person. Don't forget PS 150's school number is 108319.
BAKE SALES / TAG SALES
These fun events are a wonderful way to earn money for TLC & to meet other parents. Whether you bake, donate your old stuff or volunteer to work the sale , all parents can help with these fun events. Each event is hosted and staffed by volunteers to be determined at the time of the event. If you are interested in baking or staffing the event, please contact Tim Lynch, a 1st and K grade parent.
ARTWARE
Beginning in Mid-November, students work with Andrea to create their artwork, that gets transferred to mugs, T-shirts, mouse pads, tote bags, & so much more… These make great personalized gifts for your family, and our school receives 25% of the purchase price. If you have questions or want to help in the creative process, please contact Jill Cunniffe 1st and Pre-K grade parent.
ANNUAL AUCTION
In addition to being one of our big moneymakers, it's also a fun and glamourous event . Every year employers, businesses , parents & friends donate things to be auctioned off at the beautiful Chanterelle restaurant . The more great donations parents solicit the more fun and exciting the auction will be. Parents also help serve the delicious Chanterelle fare and wine. This event is scheduled for March 9th! Additional items will also be available on an online auction. Outbid other bidders online eBay style. If you are interested in helping with this year's event, please contact the co-chairs Lisa Jordan and Hans Anker PreK and 1st grade parents.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
There will be two book fairs this year. The first one is scheduled for the week of December 6th, and the second is scheduled for the week of April 18th. This year we are excited about adding an "Adult Coffee Hour" during the fair along with an adult book selection. If you are interested in helping set-up or staff the event, please contact Lisa Gilroy (1st grade parent).
TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL (Family Day)
This event is offered by the film festival every year! This year we need a committee to help out with ideas for an eye-catching fundraiser for this event. Any ideas? Please contact, Wendy Chapman 2nd and K grade parent.
TASTE OF TRIBECA - to be held May 17, 2008
