Kindergarten admission is not first-come first-served but rather by lottery. All applications received by March 1, 2013 are treated the same.  The lottery does not determine whether or not your child will be accepted to PS 150, but does determine the order in which we will offer seats to applicants.  After the lottery, the first 28 children are offered seats.  All other children are wait listed.  As seats become available, we work our way down the wait list in the order children were selected in the lottery.  Parents who missed the intake period can wait list their children for Kindergarten.  The names will be added to the bottom of the wait list on a first-come first-served basis.

Admission to first through fifth grade is first-come first-served.  We do not retain wait lists from previous years.  If your child was on our kindergarten through fourth grade wait lists for September 2012 and was not offered a seat and you now want to place him/her on the wait list for September 2013, you must come in beginning January 22, 2013 with the required documentation to place your child on the appropriate wait list.
